Last days at Canberra

Gisteren ben ik naar het National Film & Sound Archive gegaan. Klein, maar heel leuk om nog eens stukjes Australische film, TV en muziek van vroeger en nu te zien. Voorbeelden: Neighours, The Flying Doctors, Men At Work – Down Under, Crocodile Dundee, Ned Kelly met Heath Ledger en nog veel meer. Daarna heb ik een kijkje genomen in het Canberra Museum & Gallery.
Vandaag heb ik me vooral voor de zon en hitte verscholen in het frisse shopping center. Verder heb ik besloten om na 5 nachten Melbourne toch meteen naar Tasmanië te gaan. Ik ben te benieuwd naar dat eiland en de boerderijen lijken me er interessanter. Heb inmiddels de vlucht naar Hobart en 2 overnachtingen geboekt. Ben nu ook bezig met boerderijen in Tasmanië te contacteren.

Yesterday I went to the National Film & Sound Archive. Small, but great to see pieces of old and new Australian film, TV and music again. Examples: Neighbours, The Flying Doctors, Men At Work – Down Under, Crocodile Dundee, Ned Kelly with Heath Ledger and many more. After that I briefly visited the Canberra Museum & Gallery.
Today I mostly hid from the sun and heat in the cool shopping centre. Furthermore I decided to go to Tasmania after 5 nights Melbourne. I am just too curious about that island and the farms seem more interesting. In the mean time I booked a flight to Hobart and 2 nights at a hostel. I am also contacting farms right now.
