Why Denver, Cheyenne and Orlando?

Eerst dacht ik weer 3 weken naar Orlando te gaan, een vakantie die zeker zou slagen. Dan had ik zin om iets nieuws te ontdekken en na lang zoeken en twijfelen (mijn excuses aan Karin die dit wekenlang moest doorstaan), kwam ik op het idee een rondrit door Colorado en Wyoming te maken, te vertrekken vanuit Denver. Met als hoogtepunten Yellowstone National Park en nabij gelegen Grand Teton National Park. Vervolgens besloot ik om toch maar geen auto te huren op mijn eentje en plaatsen te bezoeken die met het openbaar vervoer te bereiken zijn (euh, ja dat bestaat wel degelijk in de VS). Die werden Denver en Cheyenne, zodat ik toch iets van de staten Colorado en Wyoming kon zien en als ontspannende afsluiter Orlando (maar dan enkel Disney).

At first I wanted to go back to Orlando for 3 weeks, a holiday that would succeed for sure. Then I felt like discovering something new. After doubting and searching a long time (my apologies for Karin who had to withstand this for weeks), I came up with the idea to tour through Colorado and Wyoming, departing in Denver. With Yellowstone National Park and the nearby Grand Teton National Park as the highlights of my trip. Afterwards I decided not to rent a car by myself, but to visit places that are accessible by public transport (yep, it does exist in the US). These places became Denver and Cheyenne, so I would be able to see at least something in the states of Colorado and Wyoming, and Orlando (but then just Disney) to end my holiday in a relaxing way.
